Chigyagni is a pen name; the word means "the fire of knowing." The person behind it is a parent and an engineer by temperament — someone who watched a generation of bright children being handed a five-thousand-year inheritance with the one sentence guaranteed to lose them: "because that is how we do it."
This book began as answers written for one skeptical young reader at one kitchen table, held to three rules that grandfather sets on page one: everything taught will be shown where it is written; every claim will be labelled plainly — a teaching, a practice, or a resonance; and a poem will never be dressed up as a proof, because the poems are magnificent enough without pretending.
The promise
Nothing on this site is sold as evidence that isn't evidence. Where science agrees, the source is cited. Where science is silent, the honest note says so — eighteen times, counted, in the book itself. Where the tradition speaks in story, the story is honoured as story. That discipline is not a marketing angle; it is the whole argument. A tradition that has survived every empire that tried to erase it does not need exaggerations — it needs one lamp, passed with clean hands.
What this site will never do
No reader accounts. No advertising. No tracking of your child across the internet. Game scores live on the device that earned them and nowhere else. The only thing this site wants from a visitor is fifteen honest minutes.
Athato brahma-jijnasa — "Now, the inquiry begins." That sutra is the front door of Vedanta, and of this site. Bring the hardest question in the house.
Questions, objections, corrections: ask them here — the sharpest ones are answered publicly, with sources.
